Are you facing a crisis or feeling overwhelmed with stress?
Are you troubled or held captive by something?
Are you lost or have you drifted from God?
If so, I want to share 3 powerful promises with you that come straight out of the Word of God.
I also want to lift you up to God and pray that God will do a miracle in your life. After all, nothing is too difficult for God. Our God is a miracle working God.

God also wants you to bother him with your problems.
He tells us that we can call on him when we are in need and that he will answer our prayers.
“Call on me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give me glory.” (Psalm 50:15)
Jesus told us to ask God for help.
He tells us to call on God in our time of need.
Jesus said, “Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!” (John 14:14)
Today I want to pray for you, using the name of Jesus. I believe that God can bring breakthroughs.
He is able to fix what is broken. He can flood your heart with peace. He can break the chains and He can set you free.
God also tells us we can come to him in our time of distress.
“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16)
How are we to come?
Boldly!
Where are we to go in our time of trouble?
To God’s throne of grace!
Why?
Because at God’s throne of grace there is MERCY and GRACE to help us in our time of need!
Do you know what God’s mercy is?
It is God showing his undeserved kindness to us even when we do not deserve his mercy and love.
Do you know what God’s grace is?
It is God showing us his undeserved favour. We cannot earn it. It’s a God free gift to his children.
1.) Are you facing a crisis or feeling overwhelmed with stress?
If you are facing a crisis or if you are overwhelmed with stress, I want to pray for you.
God does not want you to hold onto your anxieties and burdens. He calls you to surrender your burdens to Him.
“Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.” (1 Peter 5:7)
Jesus told us, “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.” (John 14:1)
Again, Jesus reassures us, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. (John 14:27)
God can make a way. He is a generous God and hates seeing his people burdened.
“The LORD will provide.” (Genesis 22:14)
Around 28 years ago, I got myself deep into debt. Thank God it was before I was married.
I was working and I was earning a decent income. Banks were throwing credit cards at me. I had bought a new car, I was renting a nice home, when suddenly a company I did a lot of business with closed. My income stopped. Debt mounted. I could not even cover my rent. The bank wanted to take my car away. I had no cash left.
I was stressed out. I didn’t know where to turn. I felt like I had a thick mist around my head. I was burdened.
It felt like I had a heavy load on my shoulders. People were telling me to give it to God, but it was my problem. I was responsible. Little did I know that God wanted me to bother him with my problems!
I didn’t want to answer the phone. It was always a creditor. I parked my car around the corner in case they came to pick it up.
But eventually I had had enough. I remember returning to the home I was renting. I could not take it anymore. I threw myself on the floor before God and I cried my heart out. I surrendered it to God.
God did something supernatural that day. My debt was still there, but the mist was lifted. The heaviness was gone. I could face tomorrow. I was lighter, I had new hope, and I had new peace in my heart. God was with me. He had my back.
It ended up being a wonderful close time with God. God provided generously. I even received a supernatural refund that helped me to pay my arrear rent and car instalments. Over time God helped me out of my mess. He is our supernatural generous provider.
“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)
If you are in financial trouble or under heavy stress, surrender your burdens to our mighty generous God. He is interested in you, He loves you, He can help, He guides, He gives wisdom, He opens doors of opportunity. He is our supernatural provider. LET GO of your burdens and LET GOD be your provider.
If you are facing a stressful situation or are in a financial mess or if debts are high, surrender your burden to God. Ask Him for help. He wants a relationship with you. He wants you to bother Him with your problems.
Give your burdens to our generous God. He can do all things. Nothing is impossible with Him.
1 Peter 5:7 says, “casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully].”
Let us pray
Dear Father God, today I give you my burdens and my stress. I cast this upon you. I let go of all my concerns and I leave them in your hands. Lord, please give me wisdom. Please do a supernatural work. Please supply all my needs. I ask for your breakthrough and your peace. Thank you that you are my provider. In Jesus’ name, amen.
2.) Are you troubled? Are you held captive by something?
If you are troubled or if you feel oppressed, like the enemy has a grip on you that is holding you back from your God-given destiny, I want to pray for you.
God can heal. He can set you free. He is generous and He hates seeing his people bound.
Jesus came to “set the captives free.” (Luke 4:18)
A while back I received an email from a person who was in bad shape. By their own admission they were possessed and in great torment and bondage…
In this email, the person wrote, “I’m still possessed. I need help. I have been on a somewhat self-destructive path. It has gotten so bad Clinton. I’m violent, I’m breaking things, I’m constantly high, and I can’t stop. I’m going to end up dead or in prison. I am not at all happy. I don’t know what to do. I don’t know where to go. Please pray for me to find the strength and to break the hold these demons have over me.”
He sent me another email, “I’m wanting to pray for ALL DOORWAYS to be closed, to give legal ground for demons to play and steer me off course. I know that many think I’m crazy. I’m just under SERIOUS HARDCORE ATTACK. Pls pray for me. All I want is to be set free and serve The Creator.”
So, I took some time to pray for this broken man. I simply asked God to break the chains and set him free, in the powerful name of Jesus.
I received this email the following day…
Hi Clinton, Thank you for the prayers. I truly appreciate it. Last night after sunset on a clear night, I found a great song to worship to that was TRULY FOR ME. I surrendered my life to God. I worshiped Our Creator with a TRULY JOYFUL HEART.
He went on and said, “I got rocks and started to construct a cross on the ground while listening to these worship songs with headphones. Clinton, thank you for never giving up on me. Thank you for showing me the way to the Cross of Christ. I have found His Love, Peace and Joy.”
This man was in another country. We were literally oceans apart, in different time zones. I could pray for his man. God set him free.
Nothing is too difficult for our great God! He loves His children. He is so generous.
“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” (John 8:36)
Are you in trouble?
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1)
Do you need prayer for deliverance?
“You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.” (Psalm 32:7)
Do you need prayer for healing?
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” (Psalm 147:3)
“By his wounds you have been healed.” (1 Peter 2:24)
God is a miracle working God. He cares for you.
Let us pray for deliverance
Father God, today I surrender my life to you. Lord, I plead the blood of Jesus over my life. Please break the chains of oppression on my life. I ask you to deliver me. Lord Jesus, I thank you that you came to set the captives free. I thank you today that you have broken the chains of oppression on my life. Lord, I ask you to place a garrison of guardian angels around me, and I pray for your protection. Thank you for setting me completely free. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Let us pray for healing
Father God, I thank you that you are my healer. I ask you to heal me from the tip of my head to the soles of my feet. Lord, please fix what is broken and make me whole. In Jesus’ name, amen.
3.) Are you lost? Have you drifted away from God? Is your eternity at risk?
If you feel like you have lost your way, I have good news for you. God loves you and so dearly wants to have a close walk with you.
Jesus came to “seek and save the lost.” (Luke 19:10)
You may have drifted from God. You may feel like you have shipwrecked your faith.
“Cling to your faith in Christ, and keep your conscience clear. For some people have deliberately violated their consciences; as a result, their faith has been shipwrecked.” (1 Timothy 1:19)
When a ship faces a storm, it can be beaten and buffeted by the wind and swells.
Sometimes it can drift far from the shoreline. Worst yet, it can run aground and be shipwrecked. You may have drifted from God and be close to shipwrecking your life. Today God wants to bring you safely back. He wants to be the anchor of your soul.
“This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary.” (Hebrews 6:19)
The good news is that it is not too late. If your heart is still beating, if you still have air in your lungs, you can call on Jesus. He will save you. He will bring you back.
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:13)
Jesus can rescue you. Anyone and everyone can call on the name of Jesus and according to God’s word, when they call on Jesus, he will rescue them and they will be saved.
If you had to die today, do you know where you will spend your eternity? Maybe your salvation is a matter of chance. Maybe you have never invited Jesus Christ into your heart? Are you are living in sin? Maybe you used to follow God, but you have drifted from Him or have grown cold and fallen away.
Come to Jesus: Today is your day of salvation. Today you can start a relationship with God. In eternity there is a heaven and a hell, but 2000 years ago Jesus died on the cross for you. He paid the full price for you.
If you want to start or restart your walk with God, click here to pray a simple prayer we have set up for you.
Today you can return to God. He can wash you clean. He can set you free. You can know that you are God’s Child. You can know Jesus as your Savior.
Acts 3:19-20 says, “Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away. Then times of refreshing will come from the presence of the Lord.”
Acts 2:37-41 says, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. This promise is to you, to your children, and to those far away —all who have been called by the Lord our God.”
Romans 10:13 says, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Call on the name of Jesus and be saved.
Let’s pray
Dear Lord Jesus, thank you that you came to bring me life and life more abundantly. I ask you to be my Lord and Savior.
Thank you for the price you paid on the cross for me so that I can be forgiven and become a child of God. Today I repent of my sin. I ask you to forgive and cleanse me. I give you my life. Thank you that I am born again and that I have eternal life, and that today I have the privilege of being able to have a close relationship with you.
Please fill me with your Holy Spirit and lead me on the best pathway for my life. I put my life in your hands and I thank you that you are my God. In Jesus’ name, amen
There is power in the Word of God. Stand on God’s Word and his promises. There is power in the name of Jesus. There is power in the blood of Jesus.
I pray that you will lift up your head.
May God put a new song in your heart, a new smile on your face and a new bounce in your step. May you walk in freedom.
“Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits— who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” (Psalm 103: 2-5)
