Graves into Gardens

You may be in a situation that looks dead and buried, like there is no way out. 

I want you to know…

God can make a way where there seems to be no way. 

If you are surrounded by impenetrable walls of bondage that are keeping you captive, I need you to know that God can blow a hole through the walls and set you free. 

God can turn the tide. He can bring hope into your hopeless situation. 

No matter what you’re facing or where you find yourself, God can bring dead things back to life. 

He can turn the tide. He can bring light into your darkest situation. 

You may feel like you are in an impossible position. At these moments, you may have done all you can. The best thing you can do is surrender your problem to God. 

Don’t give up. Don’t give in. Rather, surrender your life and give your burdens to the one who can do the impossible. 

Remember, all things are possible with God. 

He can keep you from falling. 

He can fix what is broken. 

He is able to make a way even when there seems to be no way out of your mess.

He can make a roadway in the wilderness.

He can cause rivers to flow in the desert. 

Remember, it is not over until God says it’s over.

You may have cried out to God and feel like your prayers are bouncing off the ceiling. 

Don’t throw in the towel when you face your calamity or crisis. Trust God.

Nothing is too far gone for God. 

He can breathe new life into you. 

He can cause all things to work out for the good. 

If you are in a tough place and don’t know what to do, I implore you: Don’t run from God; run to Him. Draw near to God. When you do, He will draw near to you.

When in trouble, some choose to fight their battles in their own strength and are often left beaten up, wounded, and exhausted. 

When tough times hit, many play the victim card and blame everything on others, their circumstances, or even God. Instead, take responsibility for your actions and where you are and hand the reigns of your life over to God.

When worry hits, many are left beaten down, anxious, and drained. 

When chaos hits, some choose to quit. 

Don’t.

It is often darkest just before dawn. Jesus can bring hope. He is the light of the world, and He will shine on you.  

Today, if you find yourself broken, bound, or at breaking point, I encourage you to look to God. 

He is the God of breakthrough. He can take your mess and turn it into a miracle. He can revive, restore, and resurrect. 

God’s word says in 2 Chronicles 7:14…

“If MY people, who are called by my name, will HUMBLE themselves and PRAY and SEEK MY FACE and TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS, then I will HEAR from heaven, and I will FORGIVE their sin and will HEAL their land.”

God is saying…

If MY people, who are called by my name,

• Are you a child of God? Have you surrendered your life to Jesus Christ? Is He your Lord and Savior? If so, you are His child and can call on Him to help you.

will HUMBLE themselves,

• Bow down to God and surrender your life and burdens to Him. When you bow low, He will lift you in His time.

and PRAY 

• Do not worry, but pray to God, pouring your heart out to Him and waiting for Him to answer you. Consult God. Trust Him.

and SEEK MY FACE 

• Don’t seek His hands and what he can do for you; seek His face. Spend time in quiet with God and get to know Him. 
• Look to God. Keep close to Him. When you seek Him, you will find Him. 

and TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS, 

• Turn from your sin. Turn from your idols. Turn from anything that may be offensive to God or displease Him. 

God says that if you humble yourself, pray, seek His face, and turn from your wicked ways…

then I will HEAR from heaven, 

• God will listen to your cries for help. He will come to your rescue. 

and I will FORGIVE their sin,

• God will cleanse you and set you free from the very sin that cuts you off from God’s best, 

 and will HEAL their land.

• God will bring healing, breakthrough, revival, and restoration. 

If You Need God to Intervene in Your Life, You Can…

• HUMBLE yourself before God
• PRAY to God
• SEEK GOD’S FACE
• TURN FROM YOUR WICKED WAYS

And When You Do, God Promises to…

• HEAR you from heaven
• FORGIVE your sin
• Bring HEALING

God is the God of breakthrough. He listens to our cries, forgives sins, and loves to heal, revive, and restore. 

It’s time for a new start. It’s time to put Jesus at the center. Rest in Him. Rely on Him. He has got it. 

Although the enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy, remember that Jesus came to bring you LIFE and LIFE MORE ABUNDANTLY. 

Jesus can turn your mourning into dancing. 

He can take your tests and turn them into a testimony. 

He can take your mess and do a miracle. 

He can turn your graves into gardens.
