Look Beyond The Storm
A THOUGHT TO CONSIDER:
I know it is easy to be despondent when you look at the chaos all around us. But I want to encourage you to dare to dream, to look on the bright side of life, to aim high and to look forward. No matter what storm you are facing, there is hope in God. Hold onto God.
He will see you through.
Look beyond the storm. The sun will shine again.
It is time to rise-up, to expect the best and to look forward.

PRACTICAL WEALTH BUILDING PRINCIPLE:
YOU NEED A 2021 VISION
It is easy to get stuck in the doom and gloom of the storms of life, but I want to encourage you to take a step back and look at the big picture.
No matter what you are facing, it is important to review your financial affairs and set some goals for the future.
Reflect
Look back and assess your financial affairs.
What has worked and what has not worked?
Review
Why don’t you review your budget and spending?
Maybe there are leaks in your money-system that is slowly stealing your money.
Road map
Why not take a fresh look at your future goals and plans? Maybe you can develop a new “road-map” to get you moving forward?
Where are you presently? Where would you like to get to? It is time to dream and set up a strategic plan to take you forward into the next chapter of your life.
“Where there is no vision, the people perish” (Proverb 29:18)
Set some goals/ask yourself:
- WHAT: What do you want to achieve?
- WHY: Why do you want to achieve these goals?
- HOW: Set up a strategic road map during your time to move from WHERE YOU ARE TO WHERE YOU WANT TO BE.
- GOD: Remember that God is interested in you and has a plan for your life, so make Him the central part of your process.
“Commit your work to the Lord and then your plans will succeed.” (Proverbs 16:3)
MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR OPPORTUNITIES
This too shall pass…
During these unprecedented and crazy times it is easy to get negative, to panic and to live in fear.
Rather remain calm and stick to your long-term plans.
Once the storm passes, things will recover. Incredible opportunities usually arise out of the storms of life.
Keep your head up, your eyes open, and position yourself for the exciting opportunities that will arise.
It is not the time to panic. It is a time to rise-up, to look up and move forward.
“But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth.” (Deuteronomy 8:18)
The LORD says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.” (Psalm 32:8)
INTERESTING FACT:
Do you know what 20/20 Vision is?
20/20 Vision is not perfect vision. It is just a measurement of how clearly you can see at a particular distance.
If your vision is impaired or distorted, you will not be able to see where you are heading. I want to encourage you to have a vision or strategic plan, where you set out your goals and dreams for the future.
You need to create a picture of your future that will inspire you going forward. So, set up a 2021 vision!
POWER QUOTES OF THE WEEK:
“It’s always darkest before the dawn” – Thomas Fuller (English Theologian & Historian)
“Hope is your torch in the darkest hour.” – Katie St. Claire
Things often seem at their worst just before they get better.
So put your hope in God. He will see you through.
WHAT DOES GOD HAVE TO SAY:
During these uncertain times I want to encourage you to trust in God.
Be positive during the storm.
Look on the bright side of life.
“Do not worry about anything, but rather pray about everything.” (Philippians 4:6)
You can rest in God. You are not in this alone.
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1)
Take your troubles to God.
“I took my troubles to the Lord; I cried out to him, and he answered my prayer.” (Psalm 120:1)
Seek God and give Him your dreams and desires.
“Delight yourself in the Lord; and He will give you the desires of your heart.” (Psalm 37:4)
Put your hope in God.
“I can do all things through Him (Jesus Christ) who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13)
Ask God to place His hand of blessing on your life.
The Prayer of Jabez
“Now Jabez was more honorable than his brothers. His mother had named him Jabez, saying, “Because I bore him in pain. (1 Chronicles 4:9-10)
Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request.”
LET’S PRAY:
Father, I surrender my burdens and my dreams into your hands. I need you and I give you my life. I ask you to bless me and to give me influence. Lord, I ask you to place your hand on me and to protect me. I thank you. In Jesus name. Amen.
