God wants you to be fruitful.

Look at what God’s Word has to say about living a fruitful life…

Psalm 1:1-3 says, “Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither – whatever they do prospers.”

In John 15:5, Jesus says, Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.”

Genesis 1:28 says, Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign…”

From these scriptures, it is clear that God wants you to be fruitful. He wants to see you healthy and flourishing.

But maybe this is not what is happening in your life.

Does it seem like your life is fruitless?

Maybe you have bad fruit in your life. It may seem like your fruit is infected or rotten.

Maybe you feel like you are stunted.

Jeremiah 17:5-6 says…

This is what the Lord says: “Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans, who rely on human strength and turn their hearts away from the Lord. They are like stunted shrubs in the desert, with no hope for the future. They will live in the barren wilderness, in an uninhabited salty land.”

Are you going through tough times?

Are you going through dry times?

No matter how bad things are, you can turn to Jesus. You can put God first. You can put your trust in Him.

Jeremiah 17:7-8 continues…

But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbankwith roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.

When we trust in God and put our hope and confidence in Him, we will not be like stunted shrubs in the desert, but we will be like a fruitful tree planted on the riverbank.

Even during the tough dry seasons of life, we will remain green and healthy, and we will produce abundant fruit.

Today, God can replant you.

He can take a fruitless, rotten tree and transform it into a flourishing, fruitful vine.

God wants you to flourish and be fruitful. He wants to transplant you onto His riverbed.

Psalm 92:12-14 says…

But the godly will flourish like palm trees and grow strong like the cedars of Lebanon. For they are transplanted to the Lord’s own house. They flourish in the courts of our God. Even in old age, they will still produce fruit; they will remain vital and green.”

What is holding you back? Is it fear of man? Have you let go of God? Are you trying to live an independent life?

Put your trust in God. Get connected to Jesus.

He is the source of life. He wants you to be fruitful.

Let me remind you of the words of Jesus…

In John 15:5, He says, Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.”

In John 15:8, Jesus continues, “When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father.”

In John 15:16, Jesus says, “You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name.”

It is time to produce good fruit.

It is time to let God replant you so that you can bloom.
