May the light of Jesus shine on you this Christmas.

Jesus is the light of the world, and He can bring light into your darkness.

Light brings comfort.

It protects.

It reveals.

It brings vision.

It gives warmth.

Light pushes back the darkness.

Light expels fear.

Light brings hope, life, and love.

Light shines.

Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.” (John 8:12)

This Christmas, draw near to Jesus. Let Him shine His light on you.

The world is a dark place. So many are tangled up in darkness, gripped with fear and dread.

It may feel like darkness is haunting you, as if it has its claws in you.

You can invite Jesus into your heart.

When Jesus enters, He can change your life. He can even change the atmosphere.

When Jesus walks in, darkness must flee.

In Isaiah, there is a prophecy about the coming Savior. It tells us that the world would get very dark. But in the middle of the darkness, a light would shine, and hope would arise.

We are toldthat time of darkness and despair will not go on forever,” but that the wastelandwill be filled with glory.” (Isaiah 9:1)

The scripture goes on and shares the glorious news that The people who walk in darkness will see a great light. For those who live in a land of deep darkness, a light will shine.” (Isaiah 9:2)
