Change the Atmosphere

blue and gray moon during nighttime

The world seems to be getting darker and darker. So many are down, defeated, dejected, and living in despair.

I believe that God wants to bring light into the darkness. He wants to bring healing and set those who are captive free. God wants to change the atmosphere.

Jesus changes Lives

Jesus is real. He is alive. Jesus changes lives!

Whenever Jesus walked into a situation or saw a need, he not only changed the atmosphere, but he also changed lives for the good.

When Jesus walks in, sickness, sin, the curse of hell, and oppression must leave.

One Touch

When Peters mother-in-law was sick in bed with a high fever, he just “touched her hand” and “the fever left her”. Immediately she got up and was healed. (Matthew 8:14-15)

One touch of the glory of God and your life will never be the same again.

On another occasion, a young girl was very sick. Her desperate father asked Jesus to come pray for her. While Jesus was on his way to her home, news came back that this young precious daughter had died. Jesus didn’t listen to the report. He went to her home and walked into the room where the lifeless girl was. Jesus “took her by the hand” and said to her “Little girl, I say to you, get up!” “Immediately the girl stood up and began to walk around.” (Mark 5:35-42)

No situation is too far gone. Jesus brings abundant life.

Jesus said, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10)

There was a time when Jesus came to an area and was met by a mad man who lived in the tombs. We are told that “no one could bind him.” They would often chain him up “but he tore the chains apart.” No one was strong enough to subdue him. This man was possessed and troubled. “Night and day among the tombs and in the hills he would cry out and cut himself with stones.” But when Jesus arrived, this demonized man., “ran” to Jesus, and “fell on his knees in front of him.” Jesus delivered this tormented man and set him completely free. He was healed. His insanity was cured, and he was given a sound mind. He was able to be re-integrated into a society. (Mark 5:1-20)

This broken and crazy man’s life was forever changed. Jesus sets captives free. He delivers the oppressed.

“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” (John 8:36)

Another time, Jesus was approaching a town. There was a huge crowd following him. A leper, who had been kicked out of town and was forced to isolate because of his highly contagious deadly disease, came and fell at Jesus’ feet, and asked “Lord if you are willing, you can make me clean.” We are told that Jesus “put out his hand and touched him, saying be cleansed.” We are told that, “immediately his leprosy was cleaned.” (Matthew 8:1-3)

One touch from Jesus brought healing to a very sick man. Jesus brought new hope and literally gave this man, who was cut off from his family and left to die in the wilderness, a new start.

Jesus can Change your Life for the Good

When Jesus walks in, he not only changes the atmosphere. One touch from Jesus brings healing, deliverance, and new life.

You may say, well that is what Jesus did in Bible times, but he is no longer here. I have good news for you.

We are told that “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8)

What Jesus did in the past, he can still do today. He has not changed. He is still the same Jesus today! He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Jesus Christ is Lord. He is mighty to save, heal, deliver, and set free. He is the way-maker. He can bring breakthrough.

He has “all authority in heaven and on earth.” (Matthew 28:18)

Jesus changes lives and he can change your life.

Jesus came to Save You

Jesus told us that he came to “save that which is lost.” (Matthew 18:11)

He came to seek out and save the lost. He came to rescue those who were in trouble.

You and I were lost and cut off from God due to sin. God, in his gracious love sent Jesus to pay the price for our sin, so that we can come back into a relationship with God. Through Jesus’ death on the cross and resurrection from the grave, he conquered death and broke sin’s grip, so that we can be forgiven and be set free.

Do you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior?

We are told that, “Whoever calls on the name of the Lord, shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13)

Is your life in a mess? Is your eternity at risk? Are you in trouble? Have you lost your way? Are you living a life devoid of God?

Then call on the name of Jesus. We are told that, “whoever believes in Him will not be put to shame.” (Romans 10:11)

Call on Jesus

If you have never put your trust in Jesus to be your Savior and want to start a walk with God, call on Jesus.

If you have drifted away, but want to restart your walk with God, call on Him now.

If you want to start or restart your walk with God, click here to pray a simple prayer we have set up for you.

Dear Lord Jesus. Thank you for dying on the cross for me so that I can be forgiven. I repent of my sin. I surrender my life to you. I put my faith in you, and I ask you to be my Lord and Savior. Thank you that you are my God and that I am your Child. Thank you for saving me. Thank you that you have forgiven and cleansed me. Thank you that I do not have to face another day alone, and that I will share eternity with you. I ask you to lead me, to guide me, to heal me, to deliver me and to set me free. Help me to please you in all I do. In Jesus name. Amen

God has called you to Change your World

We live in such a broken world. So many are living in darkness. So many are lost, bruised, and battered.

We have the solution. His name is Jesus. He is the Light of the word. He is the Savior. He can do the impossible.

But are you aware that God wants to work through you to change the atmosphere?

Jesus told us, “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.” (John 14:12)

Jesus told us that we would do the same things he did, and even greater things. What did Jesus do? He healed the sick. He raised the dead. He set captives free. He brought breakthrough.

God has called you to impact the world.

Jesus went on, “You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father.” (John 14:13)

God wants to empower you to reach out to our broken world. Jesus said, ask ANYTHING, using the name of JESUS, and he will DO IT! Not only will God do miracles through you, but when you do, this brings glory and honor to God.

Jesus also told us, “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.”  (Luke 10:19)

The God who has all power and authority wants to empower you to bring a powerful change to our world. God wants to use you to change the atmosphere, to change the spiritual climate, to bring light into the darkness, to reach the lost, and to bring healing and breakthrough to those who are on the highway to destruction.

Jesus is our Savior. He is able. He is the Prince of Peace.

After dying on the cross to set us free from sin, Jesus ascended into heaven. He will one day return to fetch his children so that we can spend eternity with him. At this time, he will also judge the world.

In the interim, Jesus told us that he would send the Holy Spirit to come live in us. God wants a close walk with you. He promises that he “will never leave you nor forsake you. (Hebrews 13:5)

God also calls us during this period before he returns, that we are to “preach the gospel to all creation” (Mark 16:15)

God knows the condition of the world. He knows so many are lost and walking into hell without a Savior. He has therefore called you to share the GOOD NEWS with all he brings across your path.

Jesus also told us that as we share the Good News with others, that he would empower us to “cast out demons” and to “lay our hands on the sick”, and that “they will recover”. (Mark 16:17-18)

Again, we are told, “you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses.” (Acts 1:8)

It is time to change the Atmosphere

The world is a dark place. God wants to empower you to change the atmosphere and bring life and healing to those who are troubled, that have fallen and who are on a slippery path to destruction.

I pray that God will dispel the darkness and break the despair. May God use you to bring light into the darkness, to bring healing and revival. May God empower you to change the atmosphere.

Can I Pray for You?

Father, I ask you to fill us and empower us with Your Spirit. Please do greater works in and through your children that will bring light into darkness, and that will bring healing, deliverance, and breakthrough to those who are broken, bound and sick. Lord let your fire of revival fall. Break our hearts with what breaks yours. Take us deeper in you. Fan into flames a new passion in our hearts. Holy Spirit come renew and fill us. Give us boldness to share the Good News. And Lord, please come change the atmosphere. Do great and mighty works through your children. I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
