Fresh Start

You can start afresh.

Despite what is happening in your life, you can begin again. 

In life, we go through seasons. 

King Solomon, known as the wisest man in the world in his generation said, “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.” (Ecclesiastes? ?3:1)

I believe that irrespective of where you find yourself today, or what you are facing, you can start afresh.

It is time to:

• Dare to dream
• Aim high
• Attempt great things with God and for God
• Live on purpose and live with passion

God has a good plan for your life

God loves you and He has a plan for your life.

God had a word for his people through the Prophet Jeremiah.

God told his people that although they had messed up and turned their back on Him, He still had a good plan for his people. 

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

God went on and implored His people who were living in captivity to seek him with their whole hearts. 

God said, “In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. I will be found by you,” says the Lord. “I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes. (Jeremiah 29:12-13)

God also has a plan for you.

No matter what you have done or where you find yourself, God still has a plan not to harm you – He has a good plan to give you HOPE and a FUTURE.

If you find yourself in captivity, seek Him.

If you find yourself living without God, return to Him.

God has your best interest at heart.

He wants you to succeed and be all you were made to be.

God has a destiny for you to fulfill.

He is for you and not against you. He can fix anything that is broken. He can make a way. 

God can fix it

No matter where you find yourself, we are told that “God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” (Romans 8:28)

God can cause ALL THINGS to work out for the good.

Trust in God and hold onto him. 

Vision

If you want a fresh start, you need to have a vision.

Dare to dream. Aim high. It is easy to give up on your dreams when you take a series of hard knocks and when times are tough, but you need to have a vision.

It is time to lift the lid, look up, and attempt great things with God and for God.

It is time to lift the lid. 

Proverbs 29:18 tells us, “Where there is no vision, the people perish.”

Without a vision, people run wild.

Without a vision, there is nothing to aspire for. 

Set plans

It is time to set goals. Here is a smart way to set your goals and here are 12 Godly steps to help you make important decisions.

What are your dreams? What is your God-ordained plan?

Live on purpose. Live with passion.

God wants to see you succeed and fulfill your destiny. 

Set plans. Strategize. 

Take a look at these powerful words recorded by King Solomon on how to succeed:

“The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty.” (??Proverbs? ?21:5)

In other words, good planning and hard work lead to prosperity.

If you want to succeed, you need a strategy and you need the discipline to follow through. 

On the flip side, hasty shortcuts lead to poverty or end in ruin. 

Invite God to be part of your journey

Don’t give up. Don’t give in. Lift the lid. Dare to dream. Aim high. Attempt great things with God and for God.

God has a plan for you, and he can cause all things to work out for the good.

Have a vision. Plan. Set up a strategy. Follow through.

Don’t go at your plans alone. Invite God to be the center part of your dreams and ambitions.

He wants to be the central part of your plans.

He wants to help you set a winning strategy. He wants to see you succeed. 

We are told, “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.” (Proverbs 16:3)

When you invite God along for the journey, and you commit your dreams, desires, goals, and plans to God, according to God’s Word, your plans will succeed. What a promise!

You can start afresh. You can begin again. 

God has a good plan for you. Set goals, dream big dreams. Give your plans to God. According to His Word, He WILL help you. 

Again God’s Word confirms this when it says, 

“Trust in the Lord and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires.” (Psalms? ?37:3-4)

Delight yourself in the Lord and put God first in your life, then He will give you your heart’s desires. 

This scripture goes on and says, “Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you.” (Psalms? ?37:5)

It is your time for a fresh start

it’s your time to:

• Dare to dream
• Aim high
• Attempt great things with God and for God
• Live on purpose and live with passion

You can restart your life.

You can have a fresh start.

Put God first.

Have a vision.

Dream.

Set up a plan.

Strategize.

Commit your plans to God.

God wants to help you achieve your God-given destiny. He wants to lead and guide you on the journey of life.

He wants to see you reach your goals and He wants you to be fruitful. It is your time to start afresh. Dare to dream. Have a vision. Aim high. Lift the lid. Attempt great things with God.

Live with passion. Put God first. Live to please him. As you do, may you be greatly blessed.
