Do Not Fear! Trust in God!

The world can be a scary place at times. You may be fearful of sickness and death. You may be panicking about losing your wealth and job. You may feel cut-off, disconnected and isolated. We are living in uncertain times.   

GOOD NEWS

There is so much bad news all around, but Jesus came to bring GOOD NEWS. 

Jesus told us that “the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy” (John 10:10a)

But thankfully, Jesus did not stop there. He continued, “I have come that they may have LIFE, and LIFE MORE ABUNDANTLY.” (John 10:10b)

Jesus also told us that He has come “to bring GOOD NEWS”, and to “set captives free”. (Luke 4:18)

You do not need to panic or live in fear. You can trust in Jesus. 

Yes, we will face storms in life. Jesus told us that we would face tough times. 

“In this world you will have trouble.” (John 16:33a)

But Jesus didn’t stop there. He went on and said…

“But take heart! I have overcome the world.”  (John 16:33b)

GOD IS YOUR REFUGE AND EVER-PRESENT HELP IN TIMES OF TROUBLE

I want to encourage you to put your hope in God. If Jesus is your Savior, then God promises that He will “Never leave you and that he will never forsake you.” It goes on and says that “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.” (Hebrews 13:5-6)

If Jesus is your Lord and Savior, you can rest in Him, knowing that He is your helper and that He will never abandon you. Isn’t it amazing to think that God wants to walk the journey with you? 

If you are living a life devoid of God and filled with worry and anxiety, I want to encourage you to surrender your life and fears to God.

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear.” (Psalm 46:1-2)

Jesus loves you so much. He knows how many hairs you have on your head, and He wants to be your Savior. He wants a close walk with His children.

SURRENDER YOUR BURDENS TO GOD

You do not need to face the current uncertainty alone. And, you don’t need to face eternity alone. 

Are you feeling stressed out? Are you living in fear?

Then…

“Cast all your anxiety on Him because he cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7) 

Don’t worry, rather pray…

“Do not be anxious about anything… but rather pray about everything.” (Philippians 4:6) 

Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)  

Is the load too much to bear? Are you lost? Have your drifted from God? 

No matter who you are, what you have done, or where you find yourself, there is hope in God.

Do you know Jesus as your Savior? If not, invite Jesus to be your Lord and Savior.

God saw that man was separated from Him, so He sent His Son, Jesus, to pay the price for you and me on the cross. Now we can come into a relationship with Him. You can start a walk with God, not because of what you do, but because of what Jesus did. This relationship ensures that you and I do not need to face life alone, and this relationship continues into eternity.

“Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God” (John 1:12)

Don’t live in fear and dread. Put your life in the hands of God. Invite Jesus to be your Savior. Surrender your life to God. Give Him your burdens and concerns. You can take refuge in Him. 

LET US PRAY:

Father, while the world is in turmoil, I thank you that you are still on the throne. I ask you to be my Savior. Thank you for the price you paid on the cross for me so that I can be set free and live under the shelter of your protection, not only during my temporary life on earth, but right into eternity. Thank you for the joy and peace I can have in you. Please protect me from the storms and plagues that are hitting the world. Today I put my life in your hands and thank you that you are My God, My place of safety, My protector, and My provider. Lord, I pray for peace and healing in our fragile world, and I ask you to bring revival and breakthrough in my life, in my family and throughout the world. I ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

TRUST IN GOD. BE STRONG. GOD HAS GOT THIS!

I encourage you to be strong and courageous. Don’t panic, but rather surrender your fears to God. It is not a time to live in fear. It is a time to put your faith in God. He is your place of safety, and He has your back. 

Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. (Joshua 1:9)

May the next season be fruitful. May “The Son” shine on you.
