Life Tip: Consult God

God is interested in you. He wants to help you. He doesn’t want you to face the storms alone. He wants to walk the journey of life with you. So, consult Him. You are not alone. The God who has all power and authority wants you to bother him with your problems.

God speaks. He wants to lead you and guide you on the right path.

Jesus told us, “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” (John 10:27)

You don’t have to hold onto your fears and concerns. You can give your burdens to Jesus. He offers rest.

Jesus told us, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28) 

When you do not know what to do, ask God for assistance. You can depend on him.

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Call on God. Consult God with your problems. 

“Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” (Jeremiah 3:33)

I want to encourage you to call on Jesus. Get close to Him. Get to know him. Draw near to God and surrender your life into his hands. You can place your concerns and your future in Him. 

Invite Jesus to be your Lord and Savior. 

On the cross, Jesus paid the full price for our sins so that we could be made right with God. Today, put your trust in him.

Dear Lord Jesus, I know need you. Forgive me for trying to do life alone. Today, I surrender my life to you. Please fill me and guide me. Help me to please you in all I do. I believe that You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I put my faith in you. I ask you to be my Lord and Savior. Thank you that I can come boldly to your throne of grace, in my time of need. Today, I thank you that you are my God and that I am your child. Thank you for new life, eternal life, and abundant life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
