The Greatest Healing (New Bodies!)
Life on earth is short. Our bodies slowly age, become weaker, and eventually die. Our spirits then live on for eternity (forever)!
BUT DID YOU KNOW (according to the Bible)…
In heaven, we will get new bodies. Check out this verse:
“He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control.” (Philippians 3:21)
Revelation 21:4 tells us that God will “wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.”
Heaven will be paradise – free from any sickness, pain or evil.
We go into more detail about heaven in our post: Heaven – Your best is yet to come! Be sure to give it a read if you’re interested!
You may be wondering, “How can I get this new body?”
You see…
God doesn’t want you to face the journey of life alone – He wants to do life with you, through the tough times and the good times.
Jesus made a way for you to share eternity with Him.
God saw that you and I were separated from Him because of sin.
So, He sent His Son (Jesus) to pay the price on the cross, so that we can be forgiven and come into a relationship with Him.
You can start a walk with God, not because of what you do, but because of what Jesus did.
When you accept Jesus as the Lord and Savior of your life, you become a child of God. You can experience His peace that transcends all understanding (Philippians 4:7)! Commit your life, along with all your burdens, to Him – He wants a close relationship with you.
This relationship can start now and continue right into eternity!
