Strength and Peace
You may have lost your strength and peace.
Sometimes, worry can eat away at your peace and can leave you feeling weak. If you are living in fear, it can paralyze you.
Maybe you have taken a series of hard knocks. This can leave you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and restless. And if you just feel broken, you may feel as if your strength has been sapped away, leaving you tired, weary, weak, and worn out, without the strength to move forward.
Today, know this, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” (Psalms 46:1-2)
You, therefore, do not have to live in fear. You can surrender your weakness and worries to God, for He offers strength to the weak, and He can flood your anxious heart with His peace.
He is your defender and help in times of trouble.
Where Can You Find Strength and Peace?
If you are weak and discouraged, I want to encourage you to look to Jesus.
We are told, “Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.”
This scripture goes on and tells us that those who wait upon the Lord will “soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:30-31)
It is Time to Soar
I pray that God will lift you up on wings like eagles – and that you will soar above your struggles as you wait on Jesus.
Today, I pray that faith will arise in your heart and that God will empower you.
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9)

Strength and Peace
Today, I want to look at a verse about strength and peace:
“The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace.” (Psalms 29:11)
Who offers you strength and the blessing of peace?
I want you to see that, according to this scripture, the Lord gives strength and the blessing of peace to His people.
What does it cost?
There is no cost.
All you need to do is put your faith in God.
STRENGTH and THE BLESSING OF PEACE are a GIFT from God.
You can’t earn it. You don’t deserve it. It is given by God.
But who is this for?
According to this scripture, strength and blessing are a GIFT to HIS PEOPLE.
Who are God’s people?
God’s people are those who not only follow God but have made Him their refuge – all who have made Jesus the LORD and SAVIOR of their lives.
Unfortunately, God is holy.
He couldn’t mix with sin. This disqualified us from approaching God.
But God, in His love and mercy, sent Jesus to die for our sins, paying the full price for our wrongs so that we could be made right with God.
Jesus told us, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)
In other words, if you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you become a child of God.
We are told, “Yet to all who did receive him (Jesus), to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.” (John 1:12)
Are you a follower of God? Is Jesus your Lord and Savior? If so, you are a member of God’s Kingdom, and you can rest assured that The Lord will give you strength and bless you with His peace.

Just for a moment, I want to expound on what STRENGTH and the BLESSING OF PEACE encapsulate.
In the Amplified version, Psalm 29:11 gives us some insight:
“The Lord will give [unyielding and impenetrable] strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace.” (Psalms 29:11 AMP)
What is unyielding and impenetrable strength?
According to Wikipedia, unyielding is something or someone who does not give way to pressure. It is hard and solid.
Also, according to Wikipedia, if something is impenetrable, nothing can penetrate it or pass through it.
God offers you unyielding strength that is rock solid and that does not give way to pressure. Nothing can penetrate the strength that God gives us. It is bulletproof!
The STRENGTH that God offers is ROCK SOLID and BULLETPROOF.
What is the blessing of peace?
According to Wikipedia, peace is the Hebrew word, SHALOM (???????), and includes peace, harmony, wholeness, completeness, prosperity, welfare, and tranquillity.
God’s blessing of peace is far more than a happy feeling of well-being. God’s “shalom” incorporates his all-encompassing peace, which includes wholeness, good health, security, and success, while being able to be calm and tranquil.
Today, God offers His children UNYIELDING and IMPENETRABLE strength, as well as the blessing of SHALOM PEACE.
Are You a Child of God?
If so, you can walk in God’s unyielding (rock-solid) and impenetrable (bulletproof) strength.
And you can know God’s all-encompassing blessing of shalom peace (protection, provision, and preservation).
It is time to lift your weary head.
It is time to shake off the fear and dread.
It is time to rise above your weakness and to declare that “the joy of the Lord” will be “your strength.” (Nehemiah 8:10)
It’s time to declare, “Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’” (Joel 3:10)
It is time to look to Jesus.
He is your all-powerful God. He is your protector, deliverer, and your defender.
He is your refuge.
He is your help in times of trouble.
