Are you facing a crisis or feeling overwhelmed with stress?

stress handwritten text on white printer paper

If you are facing a crisis or if you are overwhelmed with stress, you can cry out to God.

God can do a miracle in your life. You can call on Him. He loves you. He hates seeing you stressed out. He wants to be the central part of your life. God knows what makes you tick. He knows what is up in your life. No problem is too big, or too small for God. He is interested in every detail of your life. You can call on him. In fact, He wants you to bother him with your problems.

“Call on me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give me glory.” (Psalm 50:15)

Give God your burdens. Give him your worries. You do not need to face your stress alone.

Jesus said, “Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)

Don’t worry about anything. Rather pray about everything. Give God your burdens.

God’s word instructs us, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)

In other words, stop worrying about everything. Rather give your worries to God. Pray to Him. Ask him to intervene. Ask God to make a way. When you let go of your burdens and give them to God, you will experience his peace, a peace that will surpass all understanding. This peace from God will guard your hearts and minds as you rest in Christ Jesus.

Let go of your stress. Hand it over to God. He cares about you and can fix your situation.

You do not need to face your stresses alone. You can approach God and ask him to intervene.

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16)

How are we to come?

Boldly!

Where are we to go in our time of trouble?

To God’s throne of grace!

Why?

Because at God’s throne of grace, there is MERCY and GRACE to help us in our time of need!

Do you know what God’s mercy is?

It is God showing his undeserved kindness to us even when we do not deserve his mercy and love.

Do you know what God’s grace is?

It is God showing us his undeserved favor. We cannot earn it. It’s God’s free gift to his children.

God does not want you to hold onto your anxieties and burdens. He calls you to surrender your burdens to Him.

“Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.” (1 Peter 5:7)

Jesus told us, “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.” (John 14:1)

Again”, Jesus reassures us, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. (John 14:27)

God can make a way. He is a generous God and hates seeing his people burdened.

The LORD will provide.” (Genesis 22:14)

Around 28 years ago I got myself deep into debt. Thank God it was before I was married. I was working and was earning a decent income. Banks were throwing credit cards at me. I bought a new car. I was renting a nice home. And then a company I did a lot of business with closed suddenly. My income stopped. Debt mounted. I could not even cover my rent. They wanted to take my car away. I had no cash.

I was stressed out. I didn’t know where to turn. I felt like I had a thick mist around my head. I was burdened. It felt like I had a heavy load on my shoulders. People were telling me to give it to God, but it was my problem. I was responsible. Little did I know that God wanted me to bother him with my problems! I didn’t want to answer the phone. It was always a creditor. I parked my car around the corner in case they came to pick it up. I hid. I was burdened.

But eventually, I had had enough. I remember returning to the home I was renting. I could not take it anymore. I threw myself on the floor before God. I cried my heart out. I surrendered it to God.

God did something supernatural that day. My debt was still there, but the mist was lifted. The heaviness was gone. I could face tomorrow. I was lighter. I had new hope. I had peace. I knew God was with me. He had my back.

It ended up being a wonderful close time with God. God provided generously. I even received a supernatural refund that helped me to pay my arrear rent and car installments. Over time God helped me out of my mess. He is our supernatural generous provider.

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)

If you are in financial trouble or under heavy stress, surrender your burdens to our mighty generous God. He is interested in you. He loves you. He can help. He guides. He gives wisdom. He opens doors of opportunity. He is our supernatural provider. LET GO of your burdens and LET GOD be your provider.

If you are facing a stressful situation or are in a financial mess or if debts are high, surrender your burden to God. Ask Him for help. He wants a relationship with you. He wants you to bother Him with your problems.

Give your burdens to our generous God. He can do all things. Nothing is impossible with Him. He is our supernatural provider.

1 Peter 5:7 says, “Casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully].

Let us pray…

Father today, I give you my burdens and my stress. I cast this upon you. I let go of all my concerns and I leave them in your hands. Lord, please give me wisdom. Please do a supernatural work. Please supply all my needs. I ask for your breakthrough and your peace. Thank you that you are my provider. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

May you know the all-encompassing peace of God. Hold onto God. Let go and let God!

Jesus said, “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)

And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.” (Colossians 3:15)
