Money Management Principle: Be Penny-wise, But Also Plan Ahead.

It’s so easy to make poor financial decisions. I want to encourage you to be wise with your money management.
Stick to your budget.
Avoid taking on unnecessary debt.
Think twice before you spend.
Don’t overspend.
“The wise are cautious and avoid danger; fools plunge ahead with reckless confidence.” (Proverbs 14:16)
“The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty.” (Proverbs 27:12)
Give to God.
Be generous.
Save.
Invest.
Live within your means.
Dream.
Set goals.
Plan.
But also make sure that you build margin into your budget.
Make room in your budget for the nice-to-haves.
Why not plan ahead for the holidays?
Why not make room in your budget and build up some extra funds for the end of the year so that you can enjoy the holidays?
“Even so, I have noticed one thing, at least, that is good. It is good for people to eat, drink, and enjoy their work under the sun during the short life God has given them and to accept their lot in life. And it is a good thing to receive wealth from God and the good health to enjoy it. To enjoy your work and accept your lot in life—this is indeed a gift from God.” (Ecclesiastes 5:18-19)
