Life Tip: Don’t Put Your Hope in Money. Put Your Hope in God.

“Those who love money will never have enough. How meaningless to think that wealth brings true happiness!” (Ecclesiastes 5:10)

Money can be a great blessing and make a positive difference in this world. Yes, money may buy you the nice stuff, but money can also make your life more complicated. Money can also cause temptation. 

Don’t put your hope in money. And don’t think that money will make you truly happy. 

Put your hope in God, not money. 

Sometimes, we also get so focused on the here and now, making a living and building wealth, that we forget the big picture. Please remember that there is more to life than just a few short years on earth. You were made to live forever. 

“Riches won’t help on the day of judgment, but right living can save you from death.” (Proverbs 11:4) 

One day, you will die. Your body will be buried, but the real you will continue to live forever, either in heaven or hell. On the day of judgment, it will not matter if you have loads of money or nothing at all. Above all, make sure that your life is right with God. 

Jesus said, “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?” (Mark 8:36 NKJV) 

Life on earth is short, but eternity is forever. Live your life to the full, but please make sure you are prepared for eternity. 

So, do not put your trust in money. Put your trust in God. 

“Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5)

God knows exactly what you are going through.

He knows you inside out.

Put Him first.

He wants to be your Savior.

He is also our protector and provider.

He has promised that when we surrender our lives to Him, we become His children, and He will NEVER leave nor forsake us. 

Are you in a relationship with God? If not, what are you waiting for? 

We were cut off from God because of sin, but God sent Jesus as our Savior. He paid the full price so that we could be reconnected to God. If your eternity is a matter of chance, call on Jesus. Surrender your life to Him. Ask Him to be your Lord and Savior. Today, you can become a child of God. 

Where is your hope?

Don’t put your hope in money and material possessions. Put your hope in Jesus. Live to please Him. Make Him your King. And trust Him to cause all things to work together for the good. 

God loves you and made a way for all people to come into a relationship with Him, a walk that can start today and go right into eternity. 

If you are not in a relationship with God or have fallen away, it is time to get your life right with God. Call on Jesus. Today is the day of new beginnings.

Dear Lord Jesus, I need you. I know that I am lost and that I have sinned. I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
