Life Tip: Invite Jesus to Be Your CEO and Friend
We live in a world where we are encouraged to live an independent life. I want you to know that Jesus wants to walk the journey of life with you.
Jesus is the creator. He is the inventor of life. He has all power and authority in heaven and earth. He is in complete control.
“Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth.” (Colossians 1:15-16)
This scripture continues telling us about the greatest of Jesus, saying, “He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together.” (Colossians 1:17)
Jesus is the glue that holds everything together.
He knows what is happening in the world and personally in your life. He also knows what will happen tomorrow. And he can do all things. Nothing is impossible for him.
God has all the resources.
“The silver is mine and the gold is mine,’ declares the LORD Almighty.” (Haggai 2:8)
We are told that Jesus is a “friend of sinners.” (Matthew 11:19)
Do you realize that although Jesus was God, he gave his life for you and me on the cross to pay the price for our sins and shortcomings? He died for our sins. Then conquered death and rose victorious. He made the way for you and me to come back into a relationship with God.
Jesus said, “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” (John 15:13)
Jesus also told us, “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.” (John 10:27-28)
God also wants to help you. We are told, “Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you.” (Psalm 37:4)
He wants an intimate relationship with you and me.
Now see this…
- If Jesus is in complete control,
- If Jesus knows what is happening and going to happen
- If Jesus is all-powerful and has all the resources
- If He died on the cross to bring us life
- If He wants to help us through life
- If Jesus wants a close walk with his children…
Then don’t you think inviting him into your life to be your CEO and friend will make sense?
Why not surrender your life to Jesus and take him as your Lord and Savior?
He offers forgiveness and eternal life. Today, you can come into a relationship with God. You can know his leading and his peace.
Jesus told us, “You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.” (John 15:14-16)
Today, you can surrender your life to Jesus. Invite him to be your Lord and Savior. When you do, he also becomes your CEO and friend.
Seek God first, above all else. Life for him and leave the rest up to him.
Jesus said, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” (Matthew 6:33)
What are you waiting for if you are not in a relationship with God? Call on Jesus. Today, you can become a child of God.
Let us Pray…
Dear Lord Jesus, I need you. I know that I am lost and that I have sinned. I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
