Do you realize what Jesus did for you?

Jesus is the Son of God. His name means Savior. He came to seek and save the lost.

2000 years ago, Jesus walked the earth. He cared for people. Wherever he went, he brought breakthrough.

He delivered the oppressed and healed the sick. He even raised the dead! Jesus offered life-giving wisdom, he set captives free and helped people whose lives were in a mess.

According to Hebrews 13:8, Jesus is “the same yesterday, today, and forever.”

He is still the same Jesus. No matter what you are facing or going through, he can make a way in your life today. If you are in trouble, get hold of Jesus. Call on him. Invite him to be your Lord and Saviour. Hold tight to him. With Jesus, everything will be ok.

Although Jesus is so awesome and powerful I need to tell you Jesus came for one main purpose: Jesus came to rescue you. He came to be your Savior.

We all have a huge problem. It is called sin. Sin cut us off from our holy God. Yet in his love, he sent Jesus to die on the cross, so that he could pay the price for the very sin that cuts you and me off.

Jesus came as the pure spotless Lamb of God. He had done no wrong, yet he was falsely accused and sentenced to death on the cross.

He was beaten, whipped, stripped naked, spat on, with a crown of thorns hammered into his head. Thick nails were driven into his hands and feet, and he was left to die.

Why?

On the cross, he took our place. All our sins and wrongs were piled onto Jesus. He died for our sins so that we can be set free.

Jesus shed his blood for you and me and paid the full price so that we could find eternal life.

We all fall short of God’s glorious standard. God sent Jesus to die in our place.

Do you realize what Jesus did for you?

Do you realize how much he loves you?

Jesus died on the cross for you and me. He was buried in the tomb, but three days later, he rose from the grave, conquering death, paying the full price for sin and every vile curse of hell so that we could be forgiven and have everlasting life.

All you need to do to receive this marvelous gift of everlasting life is turn from your old way of life and, by faith, accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

Today, Jesus is not hanging on the cross. The cross is empty. Jesus is not buried in a tomb. The grave is empty! He is alive and is coming back again.

One day, Jesus will return. He will come like “a thief in the night.” (1 Thessalonians 5:2)

He is going to judge the world.

I wonder what the time on God’s watch is. If Jesus returned today, would you be ready to meet him?

Don’t know Jesus as your Lord and Savior?

He made a way for you to share eternity with Him. And He doesn’t want you to face the journey of life alone. He wants to do life with you, through the tough times and the good times.

Today, you can start a walk with God, not because of what you do, but because of what Jesus did. This relationship ensures that you and I do not need to face life alone, and this relationship continues into eternity.

If you do not know Jesus as your Savior, why not invite Jesus to be your Lord and Savior?

Give Him your life, along with your burdens, along with your dreams and desires. He has a great plan for your life, and he wants to do life with you.

If you want to start or restart your walk with God, you can pray a simple prayer to receive Jesus as your personal Savior.
