Life Tip: Don’t Hold onto Your Burdens
Burdens can weigh you down. The troubles and calamities of this world can crush you and get you down.
But I have good news…
You do not need to hold onto your burdens. You can give them to God. He wants you to bother him with your problems.
God invites you to bring your burdens to Him…
Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.” (Matthew 11:28–30)
Jesus offers you rest. He wants to lighten your load.
Cast your worries and your shortcomings on God…
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-8)
Instead of worrying and holding on to your burdens, release them to Jesus. Rather pray about your burdens and leave it in God’s hands. He has got it!
There is a problem called sin. It cut us off from God. But, on the cross, Jesus paid the full price for our mess-ups, so that we can be made right with God. Because of the finished work of Jesus on the cross, your life can be healed, and you can be reconnected to God.
God can fix your life.
He knows what is up in your life, and he has all the power and authority to bring breakthrough and change.
He also wants to do life with you. God loves you so much.
Why not surrender your burdens along with your life to Jesus?
God cares about you. He wants the best for you. He wants to help you through life.
He wants a close walk with you.
Call on Jesus. Invite Jesus to be your Lord and Savior. You can put your trust in him.

Dear Lord Jesus, I give you my burdens, worries, and fears. I know that I am lost. I need you. I ask for to forgive me, to cleanse me, to release him from my burdens. I surrender my life to you. Lord Jesus, believe that You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I ask you to be my Lord and Savior. Please grant me peace.
