Are you troubled? Are you held captive by something? Are you sick?
You may be bound, sick, or in trouble. God is able to heal your life. He is mighty to heal, deliver and set free. He can restore your life.
“Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits— who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” (Psalm 103: 2-5)
If you are troubled, you can call on God. Even if you feel oppressed or under attack, you can cry out to God.
God can heal you.
“Heal me, LORD, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise.” (Jeremiah 17:14)
God can deliver you.
“Deliver me from my enemies, O God; be my fortress against those who are attacking me. Deliver me from evildoers and save me.” (Psalm 59:1-2)
God can restore your life.
“He (God) gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” (Isaiah 40:29-31)
You may have opened doorways in your life to forces of darkness due to wrong choices. It may feel like something is holding you back. God can break the chains. He can deliver you from the enemy’s grip and catapult you back into your God-ordained destiny. Jesus has all the power at his disposal to destroy your bondage and he has “all authority in heaven and earth” (Matthew 28:18) to set you free.
Are you in trouble? Are you under attack? Jesus told us to ask God to help. He tells us to call on God in our time of need.
Jesus said, “And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.”(John 14:13-14)
Again, Jesus told us, “Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!” (John 14:14)
God can bring breakthrough. He can break the chains and he can set you free.
God can deliver you. He can set you free. He is generous and he hates seeing his people bound.
Jesus declared, “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” (Luke 4:18-19)
Jesus came to bring Good News. He came to bring freedom. He came to set captives free.
A while back I received an email from a broken person. They were in bad shape. By their own admission, they were possessed and in great torment and bondage…
In this email, the person wrote, “I’m still possessed. I need help. I have been on a somewhat self-destructive path. It has gotten so bad Clinton. I’m violent. I’m breaking things I’m constantly high, and I can’t stop. I’m going to end up dead or in prison. I’m not at all happy. I don’t know what to do. I don’t know where to go. Please pray for me to find the strength and to break the hold these demons have over me.”
He sent me another email, “I’m wanting to pray for ALL DOORWAYS to be closed that give legal ground for demons to play and steer me off course. I know that may think I’m crazy. I’m just under SERIOUS HARDCORE ATTACK. Please pray for me. All I want is to be set free and serve The Creator.”
So, I pray a simple prayer for this broken man. I simply asked God to break the chains and set him free, in the powerful name of Jesus.
I received this follow-up email the following day…
Hi Clinton, Thank you for the prayers. I truly appreciate it. Last night after sunset on a clear night., I found a great song to worship to that was TRULY FOR ME. I surrendered my life to God. I worshiped Our Creator with a TRULY JOYFUL HEART.
He went on and said, “I got rocks and started to construct a cross on the ground while listening to these worship songs with headphones. Clinton, thank you for never giving up on me. Thank you for showing me the way to the Cross of Christ. I have found His Love, Peace, and Joy.”
This man was in another country. We were literally oceans apart, in different time zones. I could pray for his man. God set him free. Nothing is too difficult for our great God. He loves His children. He is so generous.
“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” (John 8:36)
Are you in trouble?
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1)
Do you need prayer for deliverance?
“You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.” (Psalm 32:7)
Do you need prayer for healing?
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” (Psalm 147:3)
“By his wounds you have been healed.” (1 Peter 2:24)
God is a miracle-working God. He cares for you.
Let us pray for deliverance…
Father today, I surrender my life to you. Lord, I plead the blood of Jesus over my life. Please break the chains of oppression in my life. I ask you to deliver me. Lord Jesus, I thank you that you came to set the captives free. I thank you that today that you have broken the chains of oppression off my life. Lord, I ask you to place a garrison of guardian angels around me, and I pray for your protection. Thank you for setting me completely free. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Let us pray for healing…
Father today, I thank you that you are my healer. I ask you to heal me from the tip of my head to the soles of my feet. Lord, please fix what is broken and make me whole. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
“But the Lord will redeem those who serve him. No one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.” (Psalm 34:22)
“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” (Galatians 5:1)
“Out of my distress I called on the Lord; the Lord answered me and set me free.” (Psalm 118:5)
Amen and thank you very much, I really needed that since my mom is sick so I get encouraged that God is healer.
Praying that she will be healed. God bless you.
