The Great Reset

Have you messed up? Have you made bad choices that are causing frustration? Are you haunted by your past? Are you heading down a path that you know is destructive? Are you stressed out? Are you consumed with worry and anxious thoughts?

You can reset your life

You may find yourself living in a dark place. It may seem like hope and a chance to begin again is out of reach. But there is a living hope. It is not over until God says it’s over.

You can reset your life.

You may be ashamed, guilt-ridden, and embarrassed. Sin may have tripped you up. Bad decisions may have bound. You make feel be wounded, help captive, and

You can reset your life.

Have you let go of God? Maybe you use to have a real close walk with God, but you have grown cold or wandered away.

Even if you have grown complacent and have fallen away from God, you can reset your life. You can start afresh. You can invite Jesus to be your Lord and Savior. You can put God first and reset your life.

Do you realize what God did for you? God says we were in trouble. Our eternity was at risk. Because of our sin and shortcomings, we fell short of God’s holy standards. This left us on a pathway to destruction.

But God loved you so much, that he sent Jesus to pay the full cost for our mess-ups, sins, and transgressions. On the cross, Jesus paid the full price for sin and for every vile curse, so that we can RESET OUR LIVES, and come back into right standing with God.

Through the cross, God offers you new life. It is abundant life. You can know complete forgiveness. You can know abundant peace. You can know that you are a child of God, never having to face another day alone, and knowing that you will spend eternity with God.

No matter what you have done, or where you find yourself today, the good news is that you can reset your life.

If you want to reset your lift, you can call on Jesus right now…

Dear Lord Jesus, I need you. I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

If you have prayed this prayer, welcome back. You have taken the first step to allow God to rest your life.

In 2 Corinthians 5:17, we are told, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

God’s Word is clear, that if you have accepted Jesus, you become a brand-new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun.

When we surrender our lives to Jesus God and ask Him to cleanse us, he does a supernatural metamorphosis. He transforms our lives from the inside out. Jesus does a complete supernatural reset. We are forgiven, set free, born again, forgiven and we become children of God.

2 Corinthians 5:18 also tells us, “And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ.”

Not only this but God also calls us now to tell others the Good News, that they can also reset their lives.

2 Corinthians 5:18 – 21 continues, “And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him. For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!” For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin so that we could be made right with God through Christ.”

God offers you the opportunity to reset your life. It starts with taking Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

What areas in your life do you want to reset?

Once you have reset your life with Jesus at the center you may need to reset certain problem areas.

God also gives us great guidance to reset areas in our lives that are out of sync or messed up.

Are you afraid or battling with worry?

You can reset your thoughts.

“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.” (Romans 12:2)

Fear can paralyze you, but you don’t have to live in fear. Surrender your life and fears to God and he will drive your fears away. He loves you.

“Perfect love casts out fear. (I John 4:18)

Are you anxious or Worried?

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.” (Philippians 4:6)

Jesus told us that we can come to Him with our burdens and the things that weigh us down and that we can reset our lives.

Are you facing a financial crisis?

Debt and poor money management cause so much pain and stress.

It is important to manage your money well. Be disciplined.

Live within your means.

Say no to debt.

Budget.

Save become you spend.

“Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty.” (Proverbs 21:5)

You can reset your financial strategy.

Are you in trouble?

And if you are in trouble, don’t try to face your financial bondage alone. Call on God.

“I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles.” (Psalms 34:4-6)

This scripture goes on and says that even “lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.” (Psalms 34:10)

Do you want to reset your habits to get healthier?

You may need to shed some weight or get fit.

The Bible tells us that, “physical training is of some value.” (1 Timothy 4:8a)

But this scripture goes on and tells us that while physical training is good, “godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.” (1 Timothy 4:8b)

If you are unhappy with your health or your physique, do something about it. Eat right. Exercise. But do not neglect the most important area is your God-relationship. It has an impact on your earthly life and on your eternity.

The most important reset…

Get your relationship right with God first.

“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” (3 John 1:2)

The great reset…

You can reset your life. You can restart your journey in life.

You can reset your life. You can reboot.

What do you need to do differently?

What do you need to cut out? What do you need to start doing?

There are some things that you can do, that require a determined disciplined approach.

Some things are beyond your control where you may need intervention. Don’t go at life alone. Surrender to God. Trust him. He wants to do life with you.

“For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.” (Romans 8:14)

Know this…

“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” (Romans 8:28)

“Overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.” (Romans 8:37)

“The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. I will reward them with long life and give them my salvation.” (Psalms 91:14-16)

“For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.” (Philippians 4:13)

Do you want to reset your life?

Have you messed up in life? Failed? Are you haunted by your past? Are you worried about your future? Are you sick and tired of just going through the motions? Do you feel like something is holding you back from achieving your God-given destiny? Are your priorities out of sync? Are you living with regrets?

The good news is that with God, you can RESET your life.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”  (2 Corinthians 5:17)
