Money Management: 5 Biblical Steps
1. Put God First with Your Finances:
When you put God first, he takes care of the rest.
“Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.” (Proverbs 3:9-10)
2. Know What You Are Earning and What You Are Spending:
Budget – keep track of your income and expenses.
“… first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it…” (Matthew 14:28)

4. Watch Your Spending:
Spend less than you earn, and don’t let your money burn a hole in your pocket. Cut back on wasteful expenditure.
“The wise are cautious and avoid danger, fools plunge ahead” (Proverbs 14:15)
5. Save Before You Spend:
Build up your savings and allow your money to accumulate.
“The wise man saves for the future, but the foolish man spends whatever he gets.” (Proverbs 21:20)
