Life Tip: Depend on God
Many live independent lives, working hard in their own strength, but God wants you to rely on him. He doesn’t want you to do life in your own strength. He wants you to bother him with your problems.
“Unless the Lord builds a house, the work of the builders is useless. It is useless for you to work so hard from early morning until late at night, anxiously working for food to eat, for God gives rest to his loved ones.” (Psalm 127:1)
Depend on God
God can supply your needs…
In Philippians 4:19, Paul assures us that “God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
According to Isaiah 43:19, God can “make a roadway in the wilderness” and God can even turn your “desert into a life-giving river”.
Give God Your Burdens
1 Peter 5:7 says, “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”
Ask God for Help
In Matthew 7:7-11, Jesus told us, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”
If you have been disregarding God in your day-to-day life, living your own independent life, it is time to consider your life.
God made you. He wants the best for his children. He wants you to rely on him. He is dependable.
If you have been so caught up in your own life, or if you have lost your way, turn back to God, and make Jesus the center. You can depend on God.
God knows what you are going through. He understands. He knows what is happening, and he has the solution.
Don’t rely on your own limited understanding of what to do, rather depend on God.
He can lead you on the right path. He can open doors that no man can shut. He can direct you and fix your situation. God loves you. He paid a huge price for you. You can depend on him.
We had a problem called sin that cut us off from God’s best. But God had a plan to restore this broken relationship. He sent his Son, Jesus, and he paid the full price for our mess-ups on the cross so that we can be reconnected to God and be made right with him.
Come back to God. You can start afresh. You can depend on him.
Let us Pray…
Dear Jesus, thank you that I do not have to face my life alone. Help me to put You first in all I do. I surrender my life into your hands. I know that I am lost and that I have sinned. I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
If you have prayed this prayer, please let us know. We would love to pray for you and send you an incredible eBook to help you on your journey with God.
