Help, I need to make an important decision!

It can be difficult to make the right decisions.

I have included 12 steps from God’s Word to help you make good choices that can lead to a fruitful outcome.

12 Godly steps to make important decisions:

1.) Make sure your decisions align with God’s will:

“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.” (1 John? ?5:14)

2.) Make sure your decision will be pleasing to God:

“And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.” (1 John? ?2:17?)

3.) Make wise choices:

“A wise person chooses the right road; a fool takes the wrong one.” (Ecclesiastes? ?10:2?)

4.) Trust God for direction:

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs? ?3:5-6?)

5.) Plan well:

“Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty.” (Proverbs? ?21:5?)

6.) Ask God for help:

Jesus said, “You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!” (John? ?14:13-14?)

7.) Get advice:

“Fools think their own way is right, but the wise listen to others.” (Proverbs? ?12:15?)?

8.) Commit your plans to God:

“Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.” (Proverbs? ?16:3?)

9.) Wait patiently on God for the answer:

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” (Psalms? ?27:14?)

10.) Leave the results up to God:

“We may throw the dice, but the Lord determines how they fall.” (Proverbs? ?16:33?)

11.) Persevere:

“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” (Galatians? ?6:9?)

12.) Stand in faith:

“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” (Hebrews? ?11:6)
